I've owned a ton of bikes but picked up my first FJ600 today. Promises to be a good time sorting it out.  I immediately notice that the shifter and rear brake lever seem tiny and very tight into the bike.  Any common mods for those?

Look forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome, not too many of the 600 versions, but you might get some help with your question.

Welcome in  :good2:

I've always loved the 600 but never owned one. Hopefully someone can give you an answer on here - the bike was called the XJ 600 in all markets outside of the America's & Canada.

Another funny thing i remember was when i was in a washinghall a man in a wan stole my helmet and glowes they was right outside the door
Another man told me he saw a man with a wan took my helmet and drove away  :good2: so i drove home without my helmet

Welcome to the Forum  :gamer:

I tried buying a FJ600 at a Dealership in November of 1985. Fresh out of Marine Corps Boot Camp. The application was denied. 6 months later, I bought a brand new VF500F Interceptor.

I will be making the trek to North Carolina late next month for the Vintage Yamaha Rally at the Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge near Robbinsville, NC. 22-24 September.
