Quick Questions for the hive mind

Good evening all, just got a couple of quick questions, one of which I'm sure I know the answer to, but I just can't clearly decide whether I actually remember it, or if I just imagined it.

The first one - with the FJ on its side stand, can the clutch cover be removed without oil spilling out all over the floor (for a bit of clutch maintenance, thankfully not my FJ)........ and

The second one - has anyone heard about using FJR 1300 clutch diaphragm springs in a FJ 1200. There's a
parts supplier in the UK who is saying this is a known/common swap, but it's not something I've heard of?

1) Side stand, no need to drain oil, yes...
2) FJR spring compatible, yes....it's much cheaper than the FJ spring.
