East Midlands Country Show

Had the FJ out to the East Midlands Country Show yesterday and very happy it was put on a front corner of the VJMC display. Lots of interest and a really busy day with visitors.

It's amazing how many people came up and said...."I had one of those, wish I'd never sold it" 

And some nice others from the club line up.

That was a good showing of bikes . Looks like they were all Japanese. I only see one Honda.

Yes Travis, it was the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club display. There were other clubs with different bikes too ?

My oldest brother had a triple. His was over bored. Had flatslides expansion chambers. His license plate tore in half one time as I was watching him disappear in the distance..I was on my dad's cb750 trying to stay with him. I picked it up. And gave it to him. He had stopped at the next town. Didn't know it had ripped in half. Said he was over 145mph.

I'm trying to resurrected an 85 vmax with 4000 miles on it.  Just getting started. It snowed a couple of inches this morning. So I have a little time.

Getting close 

One CB 750; one CB500T; one NSR 250 and one MTX 125.

There's also a Honda 1300 Shadow hiding in there somewhere (behind the V Max ).
