RPM - Robert

I replaced my chain and sprockets last fall and kept what I had on there, 17/40.  This thread has me thinking I may change that up at some point.  What rpm does everyone cruise at?  When the speedo shows 65 (60 or so actual) I'm at 4k rpm.

Randy I ordered a 17T OEM sprocket from you do you know when it will be shipped out?

If it was a stocked part that you ordered over the weekend it ships out Monday in my experience.

Shipped out today. Sorry missed the message here but my dad let you know over the weekend via your email too.

Ok, thanks Robert....I'll trust the tables and my tach before I'll trust my Speedo....
I'll check it again next time I'm out...

I'm with Robert on the numbers Pat, 4000rpm on your set-up should = about 70mph.

I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of my FJ speedo - I thought it would be further out than it actually is, especially after being at the Nurburgring many years back and riding flat out alongside a GSXR 1000 (on my Aprilia RSV) where my bike was reading 168mph but the GSXR was reading 180mph - but once I put my Garmin on the FJ, I was pleasantly surprised at how close the numbers were.

Yes, I'll confirm next outing....a 3mph Speedo discrepancy is possible but a 10mph error would be too much....
Then again, I could very well be remembering my 6 speed 10AE Miata .....4K rpm @ 80mph.
