I ordered a 170 rear tire. Supposedly will fit. Like I said I'm going to try to resist moditis as much as possible. Just need to get it functional. Going to cost over $500 just to make front brakes and clutch new and functional. That is the first thing that needs to be done. Have to figure out what way to best do that.

Supposedly the 85 exhaust is less restricted, louder. They changed it for 86 and up. To meet noise restrictions. So won't have to change the mint stock exhaust.

By the way i already have a V-max  but that is not ridable because it is to small

Still trying to decide what way to go with the front brake and clutch master cylinders. Are there any modern bikes with radial masters. That have the mounts for mirrors. Figure fj1100 owners might have looked into this.
