Hi All

I recently bought a non running unfinished street fighter project for cheap.

My intention is to replace the frame and turn it into a trike.

Here is my starting point.

Certainly an interesting frame augmentation as it stands. Check out Fred's current street fighter build to see just how different your existing frame is. Anyway, I'd be tempted to cobble it together somewhat quickly just to check it runs and rides before spending a heap of time and money on a trike conversion. Mind you, if you have skills to find cheap parts, then trike away.

Gotta love the dry humor of the Brits, "...interesting frame argumentation.." indeed.
Americans would say, " Dude, that frame is fucked up..."

With the front end of the perimeter frame cut off, that frame is structurally compromised.
Best to start over with a proper design.

I don't think the frame has ever been on the road like it is. It has had a lot of important parts removed. I can't imagine it's very stiff.

I'm going to try and get it running in the frame before I pull it apart. But I think a rebuild will be on the cards.
