Hi, I'm new to the owners club as have recently purchased an FJ1200ABS. Ill update my profile in good time, but in short the FJ I have is a 1991  that I have stripped down and am cleaning up, refurbing as its been stood still a while ( over a year) and needs some new rekindled love before I take it out. I will be looking at  fully respraying it at some stage but for now need to do some touch up's on it, I do my own spraying in 2pk and therefor get the paint made up from a paint suppliers.
This is where I've run into a stumbling block - the paint code label is only 3 parts there, I have managed so far to ascertain that it is classed as brown on the log book? This has lead me to find the name "wet pale brown" on the FJ colours chart. However the issue is I need the name/ colour code for the black ( that has a fine metallic flake in it), as these are the main areas on the panels that are damaged / scuffed!
I may be able to get a paint supplier to do a scan but I'm self isolating at moment so thought Id try here first as these paint codes/ names appear to be a regular topic of conversation,(bone of contention), and I thought one of you good folk may be able to help me out so I could order it over the phone! If not Ill see if I can get a panel scanned once I'm able to get out again.
I promise Ill update my profile soon.
Cheers Mick!

Does the brown look like Fred's FJ?

Where are you Mick (which country)?

This will help get the best advice. If you're from the UK, talk to RS Paints, they may be able to help. In the meantime I'll look back through my info to see if I can find the codes.
