I was disappointed, actually a bit sick when I lifted mine....A few years of English road salt and Normandy agricultural muck ugh!.....doesn't exactly demonstrate a lot of love care and attention does it.
So. Good shout. I found a couple of 1TX fairings on ebay
This one in the US which has been. 'Ahem' modified to suit drag racing

need to buy a screen which is £45. £20 mounting frame, £20 headlamp, probably buy new indicator lens's as mine won't fit, modify my existing scoops or 3D print some new ones

It's certainly a lot smaller and sportier....

Ha ha, the tank lifts off and turns around so easily (I just set it on a blanket over the subframe rails) that I regularly take it off to give everything a quick clean, seems a shame not to  

My bike is clean, but I think the classic purists would say it has "patina".....little chips and scratches all over the place (a couple from when our eldest as a toddler decided to "help me" to "fix" the bike when I wasn't around....with a hammer  ) but nothing major .....the bodywork is totally unrestored, un-repainted, 30 year old, 80,000 mile, original Yamaha....so definitely not perfect !!

I'll see if my ex-FJRacer friends have any spare fairings/mounts and let you know (or if you're a member of UK FJOC, give them a call, they might have some old stuff in store you could get your hands on).

Just as clean  but it is getting a rebuild, so it should be.

An original standard screen arrived from Edinburgh this morning only £7 on eBay (cheers Iain)
Don't feel the urge to cut the fairing down so much....relieved!
