Good thought, but both of my bike are blue and silver. It doesn't meet the power ranger requirements.  :wacko1:
I am always on the lookout for a nice stylish  suit like this though

You could compensate with silver helmet and boots !

Nope, not my style.

To each their own.

I used to ride with a bunch of younger riders back in the very early 2000's.

They all looked like "Power Rangers" in their full body leather and coordinated boots, gloves and helmet.

Me, I was the odd duck.

Sure, their bikes were faster and they were much better riders. Honda 929's, 954's, ZX11/12's and the like.

But it seemed like they stopped every 15 minutes to check their phones.

I am not sure if it was because their bikes were so uncomfortable or if they really did get any messages, it was a new thing then, maybe it added to their perception of cool

After several rides, I returned to my "Lone Wolf" status with occasional small group rides.

What lead to this return to serenity was two fold.

1st, a kid bought a new 954 and we were "across the river" in a area that was never patrolled. We pulled down a long straight and I raced down it while they did their wheelies and rolling burnouts and normal stunters stunts.

As we were leaving, I saw the kid on the 954 pulling a wheelie behind me. Then I saw him loose it, he went sliding, and he brand new bike actually passed me as it cartwheeled through a ditch. I'll never forget the moment I got to him, he was fine, but he kept muttering "I didn't even have time to insure it"  :shok:

OK fine, whatever.  It happens.

A few weeks go by, I'm riding with them again. By now I'd become a non-official "blocker" meaning I'd drive at or slightly below the speed limit, with another rider, and we would hold up traffic so the boys could stunt away. I'd seen then ride wheelies for miles and miles. Stoppies, everything, these boys were good.

We got a little too far behind and traffic was getting rightfully pissed at us as we neared a elevated section of the highway next to the river (see picture of location). So I dropped a couple gears and took off and cruised at a hundred. I looked over across the river into Kansas right as Henry PASSES ME DOING A WHEELIE - SITTING ON HIS TANK WITH HIS FEET ABOVE THE HANDLEBARS!

Henry was one of the best riders I've ever known.

At the drag strip, he easily broke well into the 6's in the 1/8 mile and well over a hundred - all the time keeping the front wheel inches off the ground. He was good.

One day something happened to Henry.

He met a women, and had a baby.

Henry shifted into another gear and never looked back......

From what I understand, he's a good father.

Link to the lower level of the road, we used to rock and roll through here! https://goo.gl/maps/VkLHRFM2QnupNnkeA

I hear they are considering tearing that section of highway down. It's starting to crumble, thanks in no small part to the "new improved" road salt they started using (IMHO).

We moved from St. Joe 5 years ago. Many a good time.

Corey loved the 929 Erion Racing edition. He had a few. Liked his steaks extremely well done, burned in fact. Died very young of colon cancer. So sad.

Corey is shown below, with some of the other riders. He's in the white tee shirt.

He was a heck of a nice guy. One of those people that was a friend to everyone. So sad he departed when he did, but he sure did live life to it's fullest. https://www.facebook.com/groups/184855484866998/
