Not that this justifies anything, but...

Did anyone notice that the CBR appears to have "stunter"- type crash bars mounted? Makes me wonder what happened before the impact.

Plus it said the bike was doing 65mph. And the minivan was doing 70mph.5mpg impact is not going to do that.
I suppose it could have climbed up the wheel. And the stopped wheel could have drawn it back.

He probably had one of those "combination" turn signal in tail light lens set ups mounted (they look nice) and the poor minivan driver didn't know whether he was going to stop, turn, or what...and picked him up in the confusion !!!  :sarcastic: :sarcastic:
