Why no love for the Midwest?

I see that the FJ rallies are all coastal. Why nothing in the Midwest? The Mississippi river area is beautiful, as are the shores of Lake Michigan.

This group has been having rally's on both sides of the country for many years now. There is a "new" northeast rally this summer being set up right now. There was one rally in Gunnison Colorado a few years ago, but there never seemed to be enough interest in keeping it going. In fact if I'm not mistaken it was set up by a damn good west coast fellow... If you want a rally in you area and are willing to help set it up put something together and see how much responce you get from the group. Good luck to you, you may be surprised how many may be interested.
