Hey all I just for a new to me 1992 FJ1200 ABS. The seat won't come off. I can put the steering in lock with the keys and pop the left lever down. The right is snapped and NOTHING is getting it to push down. I tried using a coat hanger and using all my 210 lb weight, wiggling the seat and key, tried pushing the right down first, left down first....it's stuck.

How can I get that seat off? Thanks!

Time go buy a new tool.

Slip the oscillating blade under the edge of the seat and cut the leg of the metal seat bracket.

You might be able to loosen the latch with pb blaster penetrating lithium grease spray. Here are some pictures with the seat off.
