Friend of mind says "you should buy my bike and take up Vintage Trials".  ok, twist my arm... and $900 later I'm buying this 1976 TY250.  Any others Trials enthusiasts here?

Beat-up 1974 'Zook RL250 Exacta. Bought with the intention of restoring it, but the battle scars actually look kinda cool. Hopped a few stumps with it, but that's about it.

I think not_a_lib's got one, too.

I picked up a 1976 Kawasaki KT250 with just over 500 miles on it. Removed lights and speedo. New trials tires, made a skid plate, Renthal bars, fabricated wider foot pegs. Last month got a pair of Falcon shocks from England. Having so much fun going places that are hard to walk. We have a world class site 20 minutes from home with 100km of awesome trails that even an endure bike couldn't traverse. I used to enter events 18 years ago, and am now entering the classic twin shock class. Son in law picked up a 98 Scorpa which I fixed up for him, so now I have someone begging me to go riding every weekend we can. Enjoy your new toy I certainly do.

Hell yeah! Never competed but practiced alot as MX and enduro training love it!!! The Shmadges (not sure about spelling) have land and a kick ass trials course 5 miles from where I live, and they hold meets there a couple of times a year. The two younger brothers were on Americas got talent a few years ago doing a synchronised routine on their bikes it was awesome! The YT is a great bike Dude good find and alot of fun. Trials kicks ass!                                                                                        Cheers!                                                                                                                                                    :good2:                                                                                      Charley.

Well so traded in my 76 Kawasaki KT250 for a 4 stroke trials ride. Now have a 2008 15th anniversary edition Scorpa SY250F, so a French trials bike with a 250 Yamaha 5 valve four stroke. A bit of a learning curve from a 2 stroke trials but i just love it. Have some pretty challenging areas riding just 15 minutes away.
Looking forward to WCR. :yahoo:
