...... To the pick-up truck owners in the group.

Has anyone in the group, installed/up-graded the brake on their truck??  (rotors, calipers, pads and flex brake hose)

If so, was Stop Tech or Power Stop the brand you used??

Will drilled rotors, wear-out brake pads quicker,  then using regular/plain or slotted rotors??

                                                                                                    Thanks,
                                                                                                           Jeff

Drilled rotors should not increase brake pad wear.  The holes,  like the slots help vent the gases generated during braking.

I have no experience with aftermarket brake packages. I have a buddy with a 2005ish Chevy 4x4 with big wheels.

On the next brake job he wants to go to bigger rotors and calipers to improve the stopping ability.

I figure when the time gets closer,  I'll start the research process.

My F350 dually needs new brakes at 60,000 miles, all of which were pulling a toyhauler at 30,000 lbs GCWR.  Not bad for the stock Ford brakes but I'd like to do better.  Also looking into the same brands, just waiting until winter to do the work.  Curious to see what the forum recommends.....
