Okay everyone, I have an issue with my speedo. It is accurate up to about 55 mph. After that it jumps about 5mph or faster and exponentially off above that. when it says 120 my true speed is only about 95 mph. Any ideas? it is steady though I.E. only jumps at 55mph.

Time slows down the faster you go...therefore you can go farther.  More miles in the same amout of time equals a faster indication.  I could be wrong about this..... :wacko1:

Hey Dave, service the speedo drive gear (at the left front wheel) clean it and lube it.
Next service your speedo cable. Remove the inner cable clean it and lube it up.

If the problem goes away...cool....if not, take the speedo cluster off your bike, box it up and send it to San Diego.
