At the recent WCR I had a conversation about the benefits of leaving the hard bags on my FJ all the time. Stopping at the grocery store to do a bit of shopping was one of the things that I brought up. Total of $172.00 before coupons. All fit in one saddlebags and the top box, plus a 1 gallon gas can in the other saddlebags.

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

I prefer holding the grocery bag with my mouth while balancing it on the tank as I hold it in place with my arms as I ride.   Oh wait I can't get a grocery bag anymore --- so I guess I have to juggle the things as I ride and balance them on the tank ---

Fred
What's the gas tank doing in the other saddlebag?

If you didn't have any hard bags you wouldn't get asked to pick anything up from the shops on the way home..

What's wrong with putting stuff in you pockets and down the front of your jacket.  :rofl2:

Buy $172.00 worth of groceries here Fred and It'd probably all fit it in the top box alone.
