Right side foot rest

Does anyone know how to take off the right side foot rest bracket. I have taken off every not and bolt I can see apart from the foot rest. The manual says there are but caps on them and for the life of me I can't remove them.

I know your pain. I couldn't figure this out for the life of me until Randy showed me. The smaller silver circles in the center of the larger circles are the caps. Put a thin flat head screwdriver in the crease, and twist. Or your thumb nail, but they might be stuck. You can tap on the screwdriver with a hammer just a tiny bit as well
