Fred, I'd like to own hard luggage for my '90.  The luggage options kinda confuse me.  I see this auction is still listed.  If I bought this rack, what would be my options to get luggage to fit?  In your opinion, what would be the difficulty is finding said luggage?  Thank you.

The Wing Rack and Wing Rack 2 are a universal rack. The y204 mount kit is for the FJ1100/1200. The bags are also universal and any bag that is labeled as a Monokey bag will mount to a Wing Rack or Wing Rack 2. Except the new V35 bags. They only fit the new PLX tubular Monokey style racks.

To my knowledge, the following bags will work.
E36
E38
E360
E460
E41
E50
The E360, E460 and E50 can also be used as a top box. There are also top box specific Monokey bags.
The Kappa brand is owned by Givi and is the budget brand.

The photos are in order from the above list. The last photo is the V35 this bag will NOT work on a Wing Rack

That was a really good explanation Fred.  I am grateful for your time and knowledge.  I just got off the phone with Randy and he said you da man when it comes to luggage.  Now I can make an informed purchase.  It looks like the German ebay auction would likely be the one to buy so I can secure the tough part, which is the mounting system.  Thank you for your help.

Bump for the thread.

This rack is still available. Rally season will sneak up quicker than you think. IMO, if you ride to a rally and are not local. Hard bags are the way to go.
