I've always been fascinated by the magic of an automatic transmission.  FINALLY, a simplified explanation for non-technical types.  Amazing how easy it is to grasp when a concise summary of operation is delivered by someone who has a complete understanding of the subject.

glad to see someone could put it in layman's term using plain English. very helpful, of course i already knew all that stuff but it was a good refresher none the less.  :rofl2:

 My wife wandered by while I was watching the clip, I believe she thought it was for real because I sound like that whenever I get on a roll. There's always some truth in a good joke- your tax dollars at work...
