1000Exup rear shock for 1TX ?

Hi guys !

You know i got the old '1986 1TX for 10 years ago. I really like it but its time to think on the rear shock swap.

There was a second project for me, i bought two FZR1000 Exups. Its an 3LE '1991 and a 3LH '1992. Then for several reasons i cancelled the FZR project. So now i scrap'n'sell both of them. OR, what if i modernise my 1TX with the FZR rear shock ? Both are in good shape. Did anyone do this ? 1000 Exup rear shock in an FJ 1TX ? Is it a good idea ? How to do it ?

I have a 94 EXUP shock on the back of by '89 with an FJ1100 spring and FZ1 swing arm.

Not so sure my experience will apply much to an 86 with a stock swing arm.
