Has anyone tried swapping the stock clip-ons with a handlebar? My right clip on got smashed up so I want to just swap out the whole setup with a New handlebar. It doesnt seem inpossible but I would like to see if anyone out there has done it yet so I could get some pointers.

RPM sells a single handle bar kit. I have had one on my FJ and it works great.

I've put a set of 1992 FZR upside down forks on my FJ and just used FZ1/Fazer 1000 (2001-2005 model) handlebars and risers fitted to the FZR top yoke. The bars give an almost identical hand position and orientation to the FJ, and the FJ bar end weights just screw right in. It was an extremely simple swap - presumably the FJ too yoke could be drilled to accept the bar risers pretty easily ?
