I saw the Original, signed Document with my own eyes this past March. It is in this Gallery.
They do not allow any photography whatsoever in there, so this was the only picture I got.

The Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, and the Bill of Rights all Original and on display with the historic signatures. I took a moment to pull my 9 year old boy Logan to the side, and explain the significance of each one.  He may not remember everything I told him, but I felt it was important just as my Father did when I was a young boy..............

Went to the parade this morning.

What a beautiful day with the stars and stripes flying proudly.

Its a remarkable symbol. And to think people refuse to stand for it.What is stands for is indescribable.

I know the east coast is already covered by darkness, but on the west coast we just finished up the BBQ.

Now we wait a little later first darkness and the rockets red glare.

For those on the east coast, there is an Aussie experiencing the 4th.

I hope those aren't Chandra's beans. I do miss her beans. Here in Texas it was a perfect day. Sunny with a good breeze and normal temps for a change. Went for a early morning ride and arrived at a fellow Two Wheeled Texans member for lunch. The wives put together some good chow and the guys took care of the burgers and dogs. After lunch the usual inspection of everyone's bikes. Then a long discussion of bikes and planes. Couldn't light off any fireworks as there is a burn ban in effect because it has been so dry here. Rode through smoke on the way home from a large grass fire next to the highway. Just a perfect July 4th.

A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.
