A few photos of an awesome Central FJ Rally. I hope to see everyone again at next years Central FJ Rally being held in Marble Falls, Arkansas.

PS. Yes, I know...

the first set of photos is showing an example of breaking the Rally Maintenance Rules. Less than 24 hours before departure to the rally. New Front/Rear sprockets, new chain, new fork seals, swap talk light, swap speedometer, and swap to lower foot pegs.
I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

The ride from Salt Lake City was long and almost uneventful. Made a pit stop and went to start the bike and got nothing bit clicks from the starter solenoid. I am glad that I had a riding partner. A quick push start and away we went. We called it a day in North Platte, Nebraska. We were able to get to an Advance Auto store and had the charging system checked....it checked good. Next stop was a Walmart for a new battery. They had 1 battery that was a match for the FJ. Swapped the batteries and all was good.

One of the great things of attending the rally's is the tire kicking sessions.

Cap'n Ron was the ride captain. All that was mentioned was possibly have the ride cross the Mississippi and ride into Minnesota. We ended up riding in 3 States for the day. Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. Everyone stuck their hands in the water and touched the Great Mississippi River.

With Leon's help, I made a "Surprise" visit to this year's Central Rally. (This makes 3 Rallies attended for me this year) :yahoo:

I won't bore you with pictures of how I got there, but it was "13-Hours of Corn"!

After leaving my house around 4:30am, I arrived at Leon's house in Iowa Thursday evening.

The next morning, we woke early and rode over to Spring Green Wisconsin.

We surprised the hell out of Ron and Fred......
The look on Cap'n Ron's face, as he was trying to work out who the hell was riding in with Leon was Priceless!

After some lunch, we all went riding!

Ron and I came up with our new "Slogan"

I'm pretty sure we wore Leon out with all the "Awesome" :sarcastic:

The next morning was the "Line-up" and then ride!

Isaac rode ahead and set up to photograph us, as we did laps up and down "Wildcat Mountain".
(Awesome Shots Isaac!)

When we arrived back at the "Barn" we had a Mystery-Guest attendee..............(I think his name is Ward? He's not a Forum Member)
He owns a really-nice '90

We all walked across the street to get some dinner.......................and some Condiments!

I also learned that "Ring Brothers" is headquartered directly across the street from the "Barn", for all you Custom-Car guys.

After a late night of Shenanigans at the Barn, it was an extremely early morning for Leon and I.
We woke at 2:00am, loaded up on the bikes and headed off into the fog. It was a 4-hour ride back to his house in Iowa.
I loaded up my FJ on the trailer, had a nice breakfast (thank's to Leon's amazing wife, Vicky) and hauled-ass back towards Colorado to again run the "12-Hours of Corn"
Made it safely back to my house in the Denver area.

The location of this year's Central Rally was Excellent.
Thank you to Marty for putting this together!
Wisconsin has some really nice riding roads................This area is truly in the "Heartland" of America!
From the Farms and Orchards, all the Rivers and twisty roads, to the Amish Horse-and-Buggy traffic...........It was all Fantastic!
Thank you to Cap'n Ron for the great Navigation and ride-routes.
I also hear they have some pretty good Cheese..........
It was great to see everyone again! I also got to meet a couple of you for the first time......(maybe Ward will join up, and we'll see him again)

There is a tad more to this story.................but I'm putting that in another post.
