It's inspection time for me and after a first attempt my bike failed for cracks in the front tire.  The front tire, installed by the previous owner who i was told raced this bike on occasion,  is an Avon Azaro AV45-ST 170/30 ZR16.Though the rim appears to be stock,  the manufacturer specifies a 120/80.  I'm not sure if I should stick with the 130/70 or not.   The rear tire is also an Avon Azaro and is in great shape.

Thanks in advance!

I have the Avon AV-45 / 46 on my bike and have gone through several sets of those over the years.  However, I don't think they are available anymore in the 16" size that is needed for our model. That's unfortunate - it's a great tire.  I don't think it would hurt anything to replace the front with a different brand and keep the Avon on the back.  However, I'm sure you need to go with the stock size 120/80 ZR 16 instead of the 130/70.

Amazon has it listed, AV45 in the 130/70-16.
