Haulbikes.com is picking up the YamaHammer on Tuesday.  California to South Carolina.  I was told it could take up to 14 days.  No crate or draining fluids.  Covered, insured, $600 door to door.

Yea, $600 door to door is a very good deal.
If you rode the FJ 2500 miles from LA to SC it would cost you ~$200 in fuel cost alone, double that if you towed.

With all my possessions in a heavily loaded F150, I made it in 4 days.  Napa to Flagstaff, AZ.  On to Oklahoma City on day two, Nashville for a little fun on music row, then only 6 hours to Spartanburg. Avg 16.6 mpg @68 mph.  I did not want to tow anything, looking like an Okie headed the wrong way!  On to the Dragon's Tail!
