Beautiful area.  First thing that jumps out at me is how few cars there are.  Must be nice!  I should do a video of what it's like to ride around LA and the sea of cars that inhabit our roads.

I did see that on some documentaries. But I also saw some beautiful mountain roads you've got there. 
I think this video was filmed out of tourist season. During the season it is terrible (if you are in a car).

The Adriatic coast is another bucket list item for sure.  Especially the eastern side.  I dont think it's as densely populated (yet) as the Italian side, is it?

Problem is my bucket is overflowing.

No, it's not like Italian side and the coasts have almost nothing in common. I am biased here, but eastern coast is much nicer due to currents that make the sea much much cleaner with all the blue and green colors.... And there are a lot of islands and islets, many of which can be visited by motorcycle via ferry. Italians mostly come to Croatia during their "ferragosto" because of this.
