Aux workshop fuel tank

Hi All

Just a quick one, Does anyone know what size an aux workshop fuel tank would be needed for tuning purposes?
Is 500ml/17 fl oz too small?

500 mL of fuel is enough for more than 7 kilometers of riding, given the fuel consumption of 7 L per 100 km. Now see for yourself will it be enough. I think it is enough to boil the oil in the engine a couple of times.

Yep, be careful not to cook your exhaust valves by letting your engine idle to long without airflow.
When balancing the carbs, work fast, unless you have a box fan (or 2) to cool your engine..

I use a lawnmower gas tank like this one.  Even better if theres an old busted mower lying around that you might get for free.  They're vented -(strangely they sell this without a cap - I bought one on sale for $20 with a cap) - just have to hook up a hose and ball valve.
