A road trip has been scheduled to Arkansas this coming Saturday. I am going to add a 1990 FJ1200 to my garage. It comes with very minimum plastic, but is a runner and already has a few choice mods installed.

Nice drive from Wichita!

Safe travels and enjoy the new bike.

Country Joe

Fred,
It was great to finally get to meet you. I know that bike will be well loved in your care.

Made it home with the new to me 1990 FJ. I finally got to meet Country Joe. It was an enjoyable trip there. Right as I got near his house I took a wrong turn and GPS corrected me down a goat trail. I finally got turned around and found his house.  :yahoo:

I am happy with the bike and it will be getting some love and will soon be transformed into Casper (white bodywork with European graphics).

The black that is on the tank is not paint, it is plasti dip and can be peeled off.

Thank you Joe for contacting me and offering up your FJ. I WILL bring it back to Arkansas so we can ride together.

Fred,
If you turned off the engine in your truck and rolled down the windows and listened real carefully, you would have heard banjos...... :sarcastic:

Spent the evening putting the white European bodywork on the the 1990. All that is left is a set of mirrors. I ordered a set of CBR250r mirrors yesterday, hopefully they will be here at the end of the week.

Fred will the 90 model be your daily driver?

Currently, my thoughts are to use the '90 as a daily rider and keep the luggage on the '89 for the day rides and longer rides out to Colorado, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas.
