Fall has arrived to South Central Kansas. Temps have been 50's in the morning with highs in the low to mid 70's. Cycle Gear Bike night was last night, a ride down the the Seaba Station Motorcycle Museum for a motorcycle swap meet today and the Monthly Cassoday Motorcycle Run tomorrow.

The Museum is about 150 miles South East of Wichita, near Chandler, OK. Actually right on part of the original Route 66.

The route to the museum was about 100 miles of interstate, the the remainder on single lane roads. As usual there are some interesting motorcycles on display. Once we were finished at the Museum and swap meet, we rode about 30 miles along Route 66 to Pops Soda shop for a bite to eat. A favorite stop for motorcycles, custom cars and tourists cruising Route 66. Afterwards we continued West on Route 66 to Edmond, OK. where we jumped on the interstate and blazed home.

A bit over 300 miles of 2 up riding for the day. The FJ performed flawlessly. When I first began riding it, there was a bit of off idle stumble. On a whim, I pulled one carb slide and discovered that it already had 6 position adjustable needles. I moved the clip one position and the stumble is now gone. Some minor tweeking of the carbs are required to make them perfect. Fuel mileage for the day is respectable concerning the 42 tooth rear sprocket and 2 up riding.

The Harley and robo bike were actually used in the Movie, Captain America, The First Avenger. The last photo is a 1928 Harley Davidson single cylinder. This bike belongs to the Twisted Oz Motorcycle Museum in Augusta, KS. This bike was ridden to the Cycle Gear Bike Night. This Museum is fairly new and I have not visited yet.

Fred,
I'm glad to hear that the stumble was so simply cured. I'm irritated at myself that I didn't fix it a long ago.
:pardon:
Thanks for sharing the photos!

A few photos at the Cassoday Bike Run this morning. You never know what will show up. From March to October, the first Sunday of the month is the Bike run to Cassoday, Kansas. Population 129. Anywhere from 1000 to 3000 motorcycles show up. Mostly of the Harley Davidson brand.

I don't know what to think of the last photo.

Last time I saw a Norge like that was in the backyard of my Speedway 'crack home' the year of the inaugural Indy MotoGP.
