Wilbers rear shock

Finally got my new Wilbers rear shock after 6 weeks on order.  Looks cool and is custom made - salesman took 30 minutes going over my weight, the way I use my bike, and other considerations.  The shock then is adjusted for spring preload and rebound-damping to where the salesman thinks is best for your bike.  In my case, rebound damping is 13 clicks and spring preload set at 18mm.  Neat!

I don't know much about the Wilbur shock. Do you know what spring rate they used for your application?

Is it height adjustable?

IMHO replacing the weak sauce oem pogo stick shock should be the #1 mod. It's the most expensive, but really worth it.

The owners manual talks about having to set up the shock for static and dynamic sag.  Is that height adjustment?  I'm hoping the experts at the FJMonkey garage know how to do that.

The ride height is fixed on stock 84/87 suspensions. But we will adjust the pre-load to get the best ride possible with that shock.

No. That is the appropiate spring preload adjustment that you must get for your weight and style of driving

I have a Wilbers on my 1200, it came from Wilbers already set up, I've done about 20,00 miles with it and it still feels as good as the day it went on. Well pleased
