fj12 surging

Hi my fj12 3xw has started surging @ 60mph in top gear also the fuel consumption has dropped the fuel pump clocks n primes fine ..only thing I've done is change to a k&n filter..

Yeah, a symptom of too lean is surging.

K&N no good without adjustments...

Mine done the same when I went to k&n.
Had to balance carbs all over again.
Don't know if it is also your problem for surging
