I have a rollING chassis of a 98 zxgr that was a mistake of a purchase. I scrapped the boat anchor of a motor and I'm thinking of keeping the frame for future projects. Anyone know if anything like brakes or wheels would work on the fj before I spend a lot of time for nothing?

Almost anything can be done with research and planning and some know how....so if it's worth it to you start studying up and see what ya can use...Good Luck

Axle diameter?  Stock bearing dimensions?  How wide is the wheel hub?  Brake disc diameter?  Brake disc spacing?  What are the dimensions  of the steering stem?   May be easier to swap the entire front end ... how long are the forks?  Where do the handlebars mount?

Lot of things to consider - none rocket science - all solvable with enough thought, time, effort, and/or money...

So I finally turned that ZX into a pile or parts. The front forks are .25" wider and 1" shorter then fj. However the steering stem appears to be close If not the same length top to bottom. Looks like swapping the whole front end will be the best due to brakes are not mounted the same. Rear swing arm looks similar in length but unsure of width. The ZX only has a single piston rear caliper so brake wise not much of an upgrade. Maybe try wheel swapnly. Also the ZX rear shock as a resivour  that juts out at a 90 degree angle to the shock. Haven't looks at the fjs rear to know if it would even remotely work.
