Hi. I bought my first FJR a month ago (a 2002 FJR1300) and have just got it on the road. I am flying to New York on 15th April for 10 days and am hoping to borrow or rent an FJR for a week to visit family in Boston and Washington DC. Any tips or offers of a loan are more than welcome. Thanks. P.S. I am 49 with a family and have never had a speeding ticket or a crash that was my fault. In other words, I won't trash a bike that is loaned to me.

Thanks Fred. I am haggling with them at the moment. Too expensive.

UPDATE; after 3 days in New York I still haven't
found a Reasonably-priced bike to rent
and I am due to leave NYC for Boston
In around 4 hours.
Please help me out here. I am in Queens, New York and getting desperate for a big bike.
Any offers of a loan of any kind of bike appreciated (or advice ).
Kind regards, Ivan

Having searched the market last summer, when we went on a motorcycle road trip in the US, I can say that there is no such thing as cheap motorcycle rental...  :negative:
1985 - Yamaha FJ1100 36Y
1978 - Yamaha SR500
1983 - Kawasaki GPZ550 (sold)

I have family down there, so that might just happen. Especially if bike rental is cheap
