Hi All,

I traded in my FJ the other day.  :empathy2: I will miss her. Also I will miss getting all the knowledge from this forum. You guys have been great. I appreciate all of you. For the second part of the sad news Two days before trading her in I let someone who was interested in buying her test drive her. Yup he dropped her. Locked the brakes right up. Life lesson learned. Dont let anyone test drive your bike without having cash in hand. Damage to one side and the dealer took off another $500 on my trade. I was sick to my stomach for days. The up side is I got my new/Used Triumph Thunderbird and I love her almost as much as I loved my FJ. Take care Guys and Girls you all will be missed. Here's a picture of my new Girl.

Sorry to hear that you sold your FJ .  You still have 2 wheels. I had a chance to ride a Thunderbird  and fell in love with it. I am thinking of selling my FJ as well. The Thunderbird will be my next bike. Big R

Bummer about the prospective buyer dumping your FJ.

You don't have to leave, this is still the same crazy fun amazing group it's always been. Lots of the gang don't have FJs any more, some of my best friends never did.

You won't regret it. And my knees and back don't hurt.  :yahoo:

Change is good, and life is full of it.

That's a nice looking Triumph. You picked a good one.

Good luck to you, and keep the rubber side down!

Scott,

Thats a nice Triumph you chose to replace your FJ with and Im sure it will please the Wife riding on the back of that plush seat.
check in now and again and let us know how you like that Trumpet, heck come to an East Coast rally there are more Non FJ riders there than FJ's.

It may have its modern perks but it is a total different niche bike than the FJ, if it helps the pain in the knees then I guess its all good but I would never go in that direction, enjoy your modern perks and pain free knees! Plus one on " At least its not a hardly "
