Is there anyway in the Wanted or For Sale section that you can advice if you got what you are looking for?
I have seen things for sale in that column and "PM'd" the seller to be told that it was sold.
It would be nice if there was a tab or something you could tick when it's sold.
Or you got what you were looking for in the wanted section.
I hope what I've written makes sense?

Cheers Ian.

Ian, when the moderators see a post that a given item is sold they edit the heading of the subject to indicate that it was sold. If the seller does not post that an item was sold then the moderators are not aware. To follow up every wanted/for sale to verify it would be a huge task that does not get paid. It is the nature of the beast. In general, the older the last post, the more suspect it is. For a free forum this place is awesome, it has is draw backs, but don't they all?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Yes, I understand.
This is probably the best Forum I have seen so it's not a really a complaint.
So I guess anybody who has sold something should state that it's sold.
Easy really!

Thanks Ian.

Thanks Mark, yea, I try and keep up.

If the OP posts that the item is sold, I modify the original title with ***SOLD***

If the OP does not post the item as sold...I do not modify.
