Hi All!

Thought I'd say hello - new to the forum
Bought my FJ1100 back in October. Usual jumping out of second gear issues. First big bike....Have a 84 RZ350 and a 79 Triumph Bonneville T140E in my stable also! Rebuilt the RZ350 - but this is the first time I have dove into the guts of a 4 stroke so it's going to a learning curve.

Got the engine out and stripped ready for the gear dogs the be undercut.....but decided I was having too much fun to stop! Plus the fork seals were gone and I didn't really know too much about the history of the bike....so it's going to be a partial resto, refurb and clean up (as required)
So this is where I am right now.....
Had to to a bit of a crash course on posting pictures and figuring out URL's so I hope the pictures come out ok!
I'll keep you in the loop!
:bye:

Welcome Sean. You have excellent taste in bikes. I have a 84 FJ also. 84 is the year with the correct colors.  Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Sean, welcome, awesome choice, I love the red/Silver colors of the '84. Father Pat will confirm the same and show you just how good it can look when polished and cleaned. Happy to have you in our digital campfire. I miss not having my '86 to ride. But I still have an FJ. But an RZ350, I could have fun with that...

Love that RZ 350. That is a beauty. We didn't get the silver ones here in Canada. Great project for you. Once sorted you will love the big FJ.

Gotta love the 2smoke. Same color as my wife's old Rz it had the factory seat cowl, and the one with the grab rail too.  Sold it to my friend Dave.  He still has it 100% stock and still mint.

I must say the silver/red colours you guys got really looks good!
We got much the same grafix etc. but with white instead of silver.

A good combo having an rz stroker and and FJ1100, the best of both worlds!!
