Need Glasses

Damn. I think i must need new glasses.

For months now i have been thinking that the "new" 91 GSXR rear wheel on my bike was 4.5 inch (I don't know why, I just did). So here I am giving the bike a good bath yesterday and whilst giving the rims a scrub i glance at the size indicator and there staring me in the face is - 17 x 5.5.  I don't feel so insecure about having a 170 tyre on it now.

With your next tire change you can put a 180 on it without a second thought.

Only the 88/89's were 4.5 inch Mark. I've got a 4.5 on mine with a 170 tyre fitted and neither me or the bike feel insecure at all.
