Hello All! I hope i have started this thread in the right place.  I went to list my 1985 FJ1100 on Ebay yesterday, i had already taken all the pics a few months ago, and finally made up my mind to list it after work yesterday. Well, as i was writing up the listing, i thought that i had better go out and see if she starts or not.. sure enough she fired right up.. and now I do not have the heart to sell.  I also do not have the time to spend tuning it up.  Shops are no problem to find.... but bikes are so much different now, i want to find a shop that is familiar with the older bikes, and the FJ in particular. Any one know of any shops that fit this description in the central New Jersey area??
Thanks !

Good to hear that you are keeping the FJ.  :good2: :drinks:

Most OEM dealership service departments will not work on our FJ's for anything more than an emergency tire change during a long road trip.

There are still a lot of air cooled UJM bikes being ridden, I work look around in your local area for a private repair shop. Specifically pay attention to a shop that has many older UJM's that are in for repair.

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

If you haven't found a shop yet, or if you really need a good...I mean good shop;  call Frank at Sun Cycle in Manasquan. Very very good tech. Reasonably priced.
