Spelling first :-)

That IF your bike has a problem with 2nd, it will jump out of gear under full-throttle acceleration.
The fault is lazy shifting, which causes the shifter forks to bend and the engagement dogs to become rounded. Both of these make the occurence of the 'jumping out of gear' more and more frequent and will continue to make the "fault" worse.

Prevention is better than cure, so make sure you fully engage the shift before pouring on the coal.

If its too late for that, you'll have to split the cases, replace the shift forks (newer ones are stronger), and get the transmission dogs undercut.  (Expensive)

Yes the 86 has the weak shift forks . you can buy some time by installing a detent shift kit and being careful when shifting .
don't let anybody else ride it or they will screw it up. Every time you miss the 1st to 2nd shift and hit false neutral a fork is being bent a little more.
