Fork Seal Life...

Is there a shelf life for seals?  I know tires are dated and have a shelf life but do seals?  The reason I ask is because I have a set of fork seals that I bought in 1995.  They are new/unused and still in original packaging.  I am planning on using them on my '86...

Thanks,
Dean

Still sealed and not exposed to sunlight means they should still be good. Easy to replace so give them a try.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

That's what I was thinking but, I thought I would ask for another opinion. I have a bunch of other NOS that I have acquired and will be using that is not so "time" specific.
THANKS!
