A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

If that had not been captured on camera, the rider would have highly likely been found at fault.

I hope that driver gets criminal charges filed against him....
...after that is over, the rider should take him to civil court...Civil court is no joke, ask OJ how that went for him.
The attorney for the rider should file an immediate Lis Pendens against all property owned or jointly owned by the driver. This will prevent the driver from transferring any property out of his name in an attempt to avoid seizure when the civil case is adjudicated.

Good to see the lady rider was not killed.

The young lady has a broken wrist and most of her skin removed on the under side of that arm. No attgat but at least she was wearing a helmet. Here's the full video and the crash at 1:45. You won't believe what the car driver said. The Texas Dept of Public Safety has taken over the investigation from the locals.    https://www.facebook.com/eric.sanders.585/videos/10206338559935597/

William Crum, 68, was arrested late Monday afternoon and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a crash Saturday on Tin Top Highway, District Attorney Rob Christian said early Monday evening. Christian said that each charge against Crum, if convicted, carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.   A reporter asked the car driver why he said I don't care. The car driver then said he thought it was one of them crazy motorcycles that go by him all the time doing wheelies, and he didn't know there was a passenger on the back.

That's great news Dave.

I hope those riders get every asset Mr. Crum owns, along with placing a garnish his salary or retirement and social security.

They gotta move fast. Time is of the essence. Get the asset check done and file the lawsuit and Lis Pendens.

Mr. Crum's insurance company is not going to back him, claiming a criminal act.
