Hi all,
I have just joined the forum and I'm fascinated by the amount of FJ owners. My first bike I bought was an FJ 1100 which I sold many years ago but always had a soft spot for them. I had all sorts of bikes since although I have recently acquired another 86 FJ1100. Its basically stock and has been sitting for around 10 years so it a partial strip down for seals and bearings. I live in southern Victoria Australia, and have access to some of the best roads in the country IE The Great Ocean Road etc.
I look forward to chatting to as many as possible and sharing information and ideas.
Cheers

Ollie, welcome aboard mate.......... nearest member to you is probably Arnie down there near Geelong.

Don't forget to check out fjrally.com........ You will find an Aus section or 2 there for more of your viewing pleasure.

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

Hi Harvy,

Thanks for the info, I will try and catch up Arnie and have a chat.
I'm looking forward to meeting fellow FJ owners in aus and if I ever get over sea's well, when that day comes I will deal with it.

Cheers

There are good few of us Aussies here now mate.........you'll get a g'day from most of them I'm sure.

I'm up on the Sunshine Coast, and we a spread fairly thinly between the north of QLD down to Tassie and a couple over in WA.
Oh, and the Kiwis are starting to invade too!

Gooday Ollie & welcome.
Another banabender here too..
I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'?

"Well. I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine."

I have kleptomania,
but when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

Yeah, G'day Ollie,

As said, I'm also in S.ViC not far NW of Geelong.
Just about always willing to talk bikes, and most of the time willing to go for a ride. Benefit of not having a J O B :-) and being retired.  There's a few other FJer's around here or in Melbourne, but not active on this list.
You'll find that our local Yam stealer is outrageous on parts prices and its usually faster and always cheaper to get them in from the US.

Cheers,
Arnie

Ollie,

that's an offer you should take, Colin is a top bloke and fun to ride with and he even still talks to you after you take him through clogged up Saturday morning Sydney traffic    and his 93 is a sweet bike.
