:hi: After 14 great years of living in the village of Erin, Ontario, we have sold our old homestead :sorry:  My wife and I will be a wee bit sad when we shut the front door for the last time :cray: This is were I got back in to bikes...riding, rebuilding, etc, from my wee single garage. We have made some great friends, from both sides of the border, over the years here. However, life changes and needs must be filled... :mail1:

As another chapter in our lives ends, a new one is about to begin....In six'ish weeks, we are moving down to the Niagara region, to a place just outside of Fort Erie, just 20 minutes or so from the border crossing to Buffalo NY :good2:

Surprise, surprise, the new place we bought even has a DOUBLE garage!!

One door closes and another one opens...bringing with it, new places to find and visit, new roads to ride, in short, new adventures ahead :good2:

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!

congratulation John ! :good2: I'm sure you guys will be very happy in Fort Erie. And if our Canadian dollar would get back to par.
that 20 minutes to the border could come in very handy. You might see a little more of that white stuff in the winter down there.
But your closer to a whole bunch  of guys in the Niagara area. When we left Toronto to move to Courtice in 2001 the double Garage was a deal breaker for me :good: :music: I'm sure your going to fill yours. You also must have a ton of things to pack, :wacko3: and six weeks is not along time to get everything done, good luck to you. :rofl2:  :wacko3: Good luck and I look forward to seeing you in Niagara :bye:

:hi: Thank you guys, we are looking forward to our new home...if not the packing/moving bit

We had a run down to the new place yesterday...we have a painter & decorator coming in and she wanted to work out how much paint is needed for a full interior make over before we physically move in, ($$$$$$ :scratch_one-s_head: )

It also gave me a chance to give the garage another once over, as far as where to build a work bench, put my tool box, hardware cabinets, drawer systems, wire/hose rack, parts washer, etc, etc  :i_am_so_happy:

We also had a look around the Crystal Beach area and have lunch at one of the local boat clubs... :good2:

All in all, we believe we have found our forever home...both being the wrong side of 60, I hope so :drinks:
