I have a Haynes Manual and a Clymer. The listed motor mount values are different. Does anyone have a Yamaha Shop Manual?
Haynes, page 2-4, lists for 1984-1990: upper damper bolts = 40 ft-lbs, flange bolts = 65 ft-lbs, rear down tube-to-frame bolts = 40 ft-lbs. Clymer, page 159, lists for 1984-1990: upper front through bolt and nut= 40 ft-lbs, upper rear through bolt and nut = 40 ft-lbs, Lower rear through bolt and nut = 65 ft-lbs, and Sub-frame upper and lower bolt and nut = 20 ft-lbs. I and the po's used the Haynes values.
So my question is, what are the Yamaha values?
Thanks,
Anson
