Who has the Remus exhaust?

I have a Supertrapp 4-1 that is a little roughed up...  scrapes and dents, not in keeping with the overall condition of my '90, and maybe a little loud for me at this point.  I'm considering the Remus 4-1 on ebay and wondering if anyone has experience with this setup?  I assume it is not as loud and would give a deeper overall tone, but that's based on verbal discription since I have not seen an FJ with this exhaust.  I am also pretty well tuned for the Trapp, would I need to re-tune for the Remus?

There's plenty of time for sleep in the grave...

I took the plunge. I'll be able to tell you how it fits and how it sounds, but not much else until the weather improves out here in MN. As I see it, there's only one left now, and I don't believe there are any more out there.

Mine showed up today. Looks sturdy, feels heavier than the SuperTrapp it is replacing. I never had a stock exhaust so I can't compare the weight to that, although I can provide the weight if need be. Definitely some quality materials and thick stainless steel tubing.

Pics of the exhaust on the bike will have to wait. That garage ain't heated nor insulated, and it's about 15 degrees and snowing like crazy outside.

Overall, I give it a preliminary thumbs up.  :good2:

I have one. Had it for years. Few scrapes. Just took it off for a clean.
