Out and about this morning and came upon this. There's a local artist who comes in the night and does some Arty stuff on the fore shore on Flinders parade at Sandgate.

Today theme is Australiana. In the front of the picture is the bush setting with the billy boiling and in the back ground the Hills Hoist with a kaola in it.

It was getting a lot of attention. No doubt the council will come in and remove it like all the other pieces of work this artist does.

The General

What!
Artie types like me are more in touch with our feminine side then this bloke!

Definateley too Avant-garde and needs more sinuous, asymmetrical lines based on historical organic forms.
....no vegiemite!....not even a Victa!
I would have had a reference recognising the Turrbal indigenous owners of that beach and a heap of XXXX cans!
Hope there was at least a gumleaf in tha Billy!
But I do like the appropriate symmetry, within the organic parameters of Council`s Environmental responsibilities!

I know, I know.....it`s a long weekend and the footy hasn`t started yet....might go tinker in the shed       :drinks:
`93 with downside up forks.

Ken, be thankful your wife doesn't read the forum, you could end up sleeping in the garage with the bikes with a comment like that.

I have an idea he already does Noel. I know that R1 of his has some weird buff marks on it,  :yahoo:
