This time, not on the FJ.

Decided to update my idea of "Ramp Storage", underneath my trailer.

Bought some supplies.

Wanted to make brackets, to bolt on to the underside of the trailer.

Then I don't have to worry about how to secure these, or have them banging around inside the trailer.

After a little strategic cutting, bending, and bracing, I got one finished.
Now to make 3 more just like it.

Ramps slide in, and are held in place with a couple lynch-pins, through the holes in the brackets.

I even had some leftover L-bracket, so I used it to brace the floor of the trailer underneath the wheel-chock.

Trailer is ready to go!  :good:

Very clever Alan!
Do you have room for a bolt joining the vertical leg to the attachment bracket? (next to the trailer frame)
That way the weight of the ramps are not carried by the folded metal at the corner.

I'm pretty sure that I do.
Just have to drill out the holes for the 3/8" bolts.
That's a good idea, for added strength.

The whole time I was making these, I was cursing myself for not having a welder yet.  :ireful:
