Ok have FZR 1000 18 inch rear and 17 inch front rims ready for install on my 1986 now looking for some suggestions for tires mileage is not an issue and as I ride solo looking for some performance ability.

What is your riding style? That makes a big difference regardless of brand of tire. Canyon Carver, Easy Rider, commuter on the grid? The 18" rear might have some limitations, sounds like you can find a suitable set of shoes for your FJ.
