Took my master cylinder off a few weeks ago at a buddies house. As I loosened the plastic containing the turn switch and horn next to the grip on the left bar this little piece of plastic fell out. At least I think it fell out of there. There were distractions  :sarcastic:

Anyway, I've has this little piece of plastic floating around in my garage and it's sure to get lost at some point. I couldn't figure out where it went so I just put everything back together and everything works perfectly so....

Does anyone know where it goes?

Twangin,

If you were on the choke side, then I believe that piece keeps the choke cable in the groove,
secured by a Phillips screw in that hole. It might work that way, but I'd want that piece back in there.

Red nailed it there is a small slot that; that piece will slide into and there is a small phillips screw holding it on. It does hold the cable in the groove, possibly to keep the cable from coming out while twisting the choke.
