Thanks for the add, my name is John Dungan I have an 07 FJR 1300. I was wondering if there are any FJ club's in or around southern IL?

Welcome, and consider the whole country "our" club.
With rallies on the west coast, east coast and the central part of the USA, there hasn't been a need for separate chapters.
I'm from NE Iowa and have made it to most all of the rallies, except the defunct NE Rally.

It doesn't take long to get to know us, just get to a rally and find out!

There aren't really any region-specific "clubs", but there are a few of us in Illinois. What do you consider "Southern Illinois"? Tim Collings is down that way, I'm a little more northerly-centralish, and there's a couple more around Chicago...

And welcome, by the way.  :hi:

We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

Welcome John  :good2:  Leon summed it up pretty well.  Please jump in anytime, rallys are a great way to meet fellow riders.  A lot of us have other bikes along with FJ's so don't feel like it is exclusive club....  :drinks:

Welcome John, we are mostly friendly (mostly harmless) and not too specific about who made the two wheels you ride on. But you might have to be a bit thicker skinned if you drink the Harley, BMW, etc... Cool-aid. This is our digital campfire, the rallies are the real campfires where we meet face to face and tell lies about how fast we were. Get to a rally and enjoy our looney bin of well adjusted miscreants.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Welcome to the forum  :hi:

The following link is a pinned map that members can pin themselves and see where other FJ owners are located. Makes a good reference for rides to other areas and possible meet up with fellow owners. http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=10618.0

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....
